Giorgio Viali presents his photographic exhibition "Still Stage" which represents almost a reportage of shots and still images taken from live online shows. The artist explores a limit world with sensitivity and moderation, capturing fragments of bodies and faces that take on a unique meaning and beauty.
"Still Stage" is also configured as a form of street photography, in which the photographer casually approaches an online show and lets himself be guided by instinct in choosing the images to capture. The result is an indirect but very personal work, which represents moments of a period and an era, expressing a profound feeling and sentiment.
Giorgio Viali's photography presents itself as a poor photograph, not due to the absence of artistic value, but due to the concentration and definition of the elements present. The images are devoted to primitive instincts and impersonal excitements, thus creating a basic visual ontology that fascinates and excites.
"Still Stage" is a photographic exhibition not to be missed, which demonstrates Giorgio Viali's ability to capture unique moments through the lens of his camera. The exhibition can be visited at the Mostra Fotografica Art Gallery (www.MostraFotografica.com) from 5 February to 30 June 2024.
